Lafayette, LA-The Louisiana IceGators are guaranteeing a win on Saturday night when Columbus comes to town, game time is set for 7:05.  If the ‘Gators do not win, everybody in attendance will receive a complimentary ticket.  If the ‘Gators lose, fans will receive tickets for the game against the Mississippi Surge for the next night, March 7 at 2:05. 

“We are in a must win situation in order to make the playoffs,” stated Ron Handy, Assistant General Manager of the IceGators, when asked about “Guarantee Win Night.”  “Fans will be able to experience great hockey and help push our team into the playoffs.”

The IceGators are currently eight points behind Columbus for the final playoff spot.  The two teams have spit the season series with each team winning two games.  The ‘Gators are coming off of a 5-3 win against the league leading Mississippi Surge.

The ‘Gators return home for a key match-up against the Columbus Cottonmouths on Saturday, March 6 at 7:05.  The importance of this game is increased because Columbus holds the sixth and final playoff spot.
